Packaging buying guide
A box with an insert combines an outer structure with fitted internal support. The outer box provides the enclosure and presentation; the insert locates, separates or supports the product inside it.
Identify safe areas on the product that can bear contact and keep loads away from pumps, droppers, fragile edges and decorative surfaces. Record dimensions and filled weight for every component.
A cavity must allow usable finger or lift access. Review the order of assembly, orientation and whether removing one item disturbs another. A close fit alone does not prove transit performance.
Check insert-to-box clearance, lid closure, movement and removal with the packed products. Material, tooling, sample scope and performance evidence must be confirmed in the quotation.
Explore the insert design and specification process. For a project review, share the finished product, quantity, destination and requirements through a custom quote brief. Availability and the final specification are confirmed in writing.
