Packaging buying guide
Paper-based inserts can use cut and folded sheet materials to locate products, divide compartments or create a presentation platform. Their performance depends on the selected material and construction, not simply on being paper-based.
Use finished dimensions and weight to plan contact points. Keep cut edges and pressure away from delicate decoration, pumps and applicators. Include finger clearance so the product can be removed without tearing the support.
Review how the insert is erected, retained in the box and loaded. Narrow tabs or unsupported spans may need redesign. Ask whether the sample represents the intended stock, printing and assembly process.
Complex contours may justify evaluating molded pulp, while simpler layouts may suit folded partitions. Verify coatings, adhesives and actual material sourcing before making recyclability, recycled-content or plastic-free claims.
Compare molded pulp for shaped support. For a project review, share the finished product, quantity, destination and requirements through a custom quote brief. Availability and the final specification are confirmed in writing.
