Packaging buying guide
A two-piece box has a removable lid and a separate base. The proportions of their overlap affect appearance, ease of opening and the amount of product revealed after the lid is lifted.
Review lid depth, stack height and finger access. Too tight a fit can make opening difficult; too loose a fit may need a separate retention solution for handling. Confirm tolerances through the agreed sample route.
A jar, candle or beauty set needs stable support in the base. Check insert height and removal space, and do not rely on lid pressure to restrain a delicate product.
Check squared corners, wrap edges, lid-to-base alignment and any artwork that spans the two parts. Confirm whether the box will be transported closed, nested or separately packed.
Review internal support for the base. For a project review, share the finished product, quantity, destination and requirements through a custom quote brief. Availability and the final specification are confirmed in writing.
